Beautiful vintage 12GF (marked 12k , GF, Sheaffer) embossed pen and pencil set. Pencil is retractable and the clip clicks on ballpoint. I do not see any wear to gold. I do see light scratching only under 10X magnification. Pencil has lead and writes with a very fine and crisp look. Pen needs new cartridge. This looks like a fine scrolling pattern, rather than the more common grape pattern.
