Here is a cool early pottery piece that was designed by Royal Hickman. It\'s afigural open fan tailedpigeonvase and donein the blended blue and pink mottled glaze called mauve agate.This is one of the earlier pieces with the glaze having more blue as well as the cream colored interior reflecting the early days when Royal was still with the company.This beauty measures9\" tall by9\" wide and a solid piece weighing 4 lbs. Thisis mold number R-334 and marked as such on the bottom as well as Royal Hickman. It also still retains it\'s gold crown Hickman label on the front.Condition isexcellent. The only flaw is two tiny pinprick glaze pops onthe base (see last photo). There is also a very slight wobble which a felt protector will correct.Aslickvintagepieceto add to your collection or decor.
