This sale is for one of the most beautiful items the museum ever acquired. A HUGE 2 foot Vintage African Chokwe Mwana Mahoney Pwo Ceremonial Vintage Tribal mask. Incredibly though pulled from several feet of black ash, the wood sustained no damage! Some of the long hair beads did get burned so look at the images closely, should be easily repairable. It is one of a small handful of wood items to survive and the most intact - nothing short of a miracle.
