Beautiful Blue Enamel, Lange Freestanding Wood Stove 6302k, Made in Denmark For Sale

I purchased this stove hoping to fully restore and use in our home, but unfortunately it will not work where we had planned to put it. Stove has been cleaned, but will probably need to be resealed at a minimum. Internal baffles could also probably use replacement. The stove can break into 2 pieces, making it easier to move. The top cook chamber has a small crack - please refer to photo, the bottom heating chamber has no cracks. The enamel is chipping in some places, but overall given the age of this piece I would say it is in very good condition. Comes with enameled pipe and water pot.

The Lange 6302K is an unusually powerful heater, with additional hea radiation achieved by the large amount of heavy cast iron, by the large second tier heat exchanger anci by the circulation of combustion gases through a unique internal baffle sys- tem. The 6302K takes a 24-inch log and has been tested in northern cli- mates to heat 8000 to 10,000 cubic feet. Not only does the second tier heat exchanger boost the radiant heat output of the 6302K, it also contains an oven and cooking plates with a vent for temperature regulation.

A shorter version of the 6302K is the Lange 6302A as shown in color on the back cover of this Directory. This stove without the'second tier heat exchanger, standing 34-inches high and weighing 272 pounds, con- sumes approximately the same amount of woodfuel and has been tested in northern climates heat-

ing 7000 to 9000 cubic feet. The top

surface of the 6302A also has cookir- plates. A knob above the draft con- trols actuates a by-pass in the baffle for quicker starting.
