Wonderful pair of antique figurine candelabrum . Painted in smooth, pastel colours with a dichromatic pink aesthetic; both elegantly perch atop their naturalistic plinths.
Marked on the base with JR monogram .This is the mark possibly for the Joseph Gaspard Robert manufactory (operated 1754-1793) or for a later Dresden maker

Excellent antique condition. Young man is in practically flawless condition without signs of restoration, small chips on the leaves of the roses and twigs of the roses which are lying at his feet. Lady has been professionally restored around the neck, very well put together - as well as professional restoration of the left hand; small chip on the flower in the left hand.
