I believe this fine vintage or antique SW Native American basket originates from either the Apache or Pima tribe (suggested by the use of crosses in its design). The basket is 7" in diameter x 2.75" in height. I think it might date as early as the 1920's. The overcast dark brown binding at the top edge of the basket is missing in a few places but this does not effect the beauty or strength of the basket.
