It has two patent dates behind frog: Mar 25-02 & Aug 19-02. The japanning is in used & worn condition with some chipping for age. The plane measures approximately 23-7/8\" L x 3-1/8\" W. The cutter is a Stanley notched logo Made in USA, it has some pitting & oxidation, it measures: 8-1/8\" x 2-5/8\". NOTE: It has a SARGENT VBM CAP....Cheeks & sole have typical nicks, scratches and wear. It weighs 8 lbs 15oz. I always suggest sharpening for optimal use. Tote has a chip off tip.
