Gorgeous unusual Victorian parlor lamp with ornate tripod base with onyx insert. This lamp has a new electric conversion burner replacing the wick assembly. The font does lift out of the base. There are several small cracks in the base near the feet that do not seem to compromise the stability of the base. I am unsure if this is "as made" or something that happened later on. The glass globe is hand painted with pink and burgundy roses. The glass chimney has two small flake type chips on the upper rim. Turns on and off via a brass turn key. The cord and plug are both gold-toned. Height is 33.5 inches. This is a phenomenal lamp and one of the few I have ever seen with a tripod base such as this.
