Antique Victorian 1800s Velvet Patchwork Crazy Quilt For Sale

I found this absolutely stunning quilt in an attic at an estate sale and the owner said that it had been in the family since the late 1800s. It is a “crazy quilt” which was a style of quilt popular during the surge in popularity of “arts and crafts” handwork in the later Victorian period. It is totally handmade with the sweetest chain stitching detail on all of the patches. It is jewel toned with rich black, teal, and fuchsia velvet patches. This quilt has so much witchy power in it.

Since this is over 100 years old, please expect wear and flaws! I have tried to take photos to show the overall condition - it has held up remarkably well, but I have never tried to actually use it as a blanket as I don’t want to damage it (I only put it in my bed to take the photos). There are areas of discoloration and loose threads throughout. Please let me know if you have any questions!
