Antique Stoneware Flask Pumpkin Seed Type American Salt glaze New England c 1850. Measures 7.75" tall x 4" across the widest part x 2" wide approx. Cool characteristics bottle is not completely flat on one side and shows that this is a hand made item. Base measures 2.5" x 2". Has a small nick chip on outer edge lip, and a tight hairline crack, can be seen on one side and thin but oval shaped and wrapping around to other side of shoulder but not connecting. Sturdy and tight, but there. A hard to find stoneware flask and still a desirable piece for your collection. One side of lip is cool as its a little flat, if you so wanted to lay the bottle down.
