A beautiful little steel strong box with cast iron carrying handle and original working key, weighing a sturdy 20lbs. This box has a wonderful original stylized grain paint finish. There are patches of damage, especially to the top. There is evidence of a missing tray on the interior, which is painted bright red. 16.5\"x11\"x7\"H. Germany, circa 1880.
