A fully restored original Peloubet 8-key flute made in NY. It is very similar in design and playing characteristics to an English Rudall Rose flute. Nice interlocking “claw” C and C# keys. Double silver rings in typical American style. The upper C key was added to the flute after it was built but certainly still during the 19th century. This flute also has the original hand support pads as recommend by Nicholson - possibly shark-skin.

Excellent cocus wood with silver ornaments. Well filled crack in the head joint. Lined head, screw-cap, good pewter-plugs on low C#, C.

All our instruments are restored to playing condition. A modern copy of a flute like this would cost at least $5,000 - this is an original!
