Pending.Works really well, great for grilled cheese sandwiches, does up to 2 sandwiches at a time. The standing peg you see in the pics up in the air acts as a leg when hot top is openedand folded back. It tucks down whennot in use.
Just plug it in, allow unit to heat up, place your sandwiches on the bottom surface, fold
over the top, or lid whichwill adjust automaticlly to the proper thickness to lay flat on
thesandwich.App 3 minwith no need to flip for a great grilled cheese sandwich. I have
alsodone regular store bought white bread using the machine as a toaster of sorts. Takes
meback to Grand Ma,s house making toast on the old wood stove surface which was
fantastic. I think it also would work well for many things like peta, or flat breads. Unit
with cord weight,s over 5 lbs so shipping is what it is. Note: This early unit does not have
any of the bells and whistles of modern units so you do have to watch what your cooking,
so as not to over cook. Built in on-off switch in plug, or simply pull plug to shut off.
P.S. It is totally counter or table top safe with ventilated base, and fold down leg to keep
hot top lid off counter. Have fun with it! Totally usable, a great addition to any collection. Cord is like new and alone worth the asking price!
