Lovely antique Imari biscuit jar

I believe it is English, probably late 19th to early 20th century - but I am not certain. It is marked and numbered (see pics) yet I’m still having trouble identifying it!

The lid is etched with a bird and foliage, swing handle

Interior of lid is marked ESNP (plated silver), but the lid and handle appear to brass? Clearly tarnished/patinated and I have not cleaned or polished as I will leave that to the buyers discretion.

No chips or cracks; gold overlay paint has some wear, crazing commensurate with ago
