Selling for a wonderful elderly man whom states this leather briefcase was his grandfathers which dates it to the late 1800\'s. The leather is in great condition for it\'s age, such an amazing preservation of history! The leather handle is inside the bag and no longer attached but will be included should the new owner want to have it repaired. The clasps for shutting the bag do work, but they are sticky and a servicing to them would do it justice. Such a great little slice of history. There are no realoffensive odors tothe bad, the inside has a very slight must smell, but not strong at all. Please ask any and all questions as all sales are final.
