A rare antique German White porcelain pitchertoothpick holder.The shape is a smallpitcherand the texture is tree bark, a smallBlonde babyis peakingout of a tree trunkholeand smiling(one on each side).This ishand paintedwithBlue accents, the childrenhave delicate features,similar,yet slightly different,twins.
The curious thing is it appears that the exterioris madefrom a two (2) part mold and the interiorshows thatits inner shape was formed by hand.You can see cheeseclothor similar fabric used onthe interior (difficult to photograph).No makers mark.
Weighs 2.7 ounces.
