Antique German Catalin Staunton Chess Set circa 1930 For Sale

An interesting and scarce German Staunton pattern chess set with box circa 1930.

The pieces are made of Catalin an early plastic comparable to bakelite. One side black and the other side yellow, a complete set (32) for age in good condition, king height is 3.5 inches.

Comes with the original wood two sided storage box.

The design of the pieces are similar to chess sets made by KP Uhlig in Germany.

Includes a hand inlaid walnut and maple Italian chessboard, new and in mint condition.
