Interesting German desktop tray and inkwell holder Post WW I.

The first line of the inscription suggest this item was presented as a silver wedding or anniversary tribute most likely from friends or relatives, however we cannot figure out the correct translation of the second line (something along the lines of it being a gift from the staff at a headquarters).

Hinge seems to open well and it has the original ceramic cup for ink. Very nice item.

Condition:

Seems to be in good shape with no dings or dents . some scratches are evident in tray from general use over the years. Glass section clear and silver top looks good
