Antique ENTERPRISE Cast Iron COFFEE GRINDER

Enterprise Mfg. Co. Philadelphia, PA patent Oct. 21, 1873

The grinder is 11 ¾” high with a metal drawer. The wood base measures 6 ¼” x 7”. The handle turns smoothly and ground coffee beans when I tried it. I inherited this unit over twenty-five years ago and it appears to have been painted at some point previous to that. The little ceramic knob on the drawer has a piece broken off (see photos) and the lid of the hopper is missing, but there was a little knob in the drawer that may have been part of the lid (see close-up photo of this knob.)

The unit weighs 9 lbs. and will be securely packed when shipped.
