These pieces are from my father's ( Robert J. Bass) world class collection of bronzes, coins, pottery, sculpture and Viennese bronze cold painted miniatures.

His previous collections were saleed at Sotheby in New York.

This is a bronze asian elephant in pristine condition, it has been kept in a glass showcase for over 50 years.

It does have a stamp on the underside , but I'm unable to make out the artist/ makers mark, it appears to be a square with asian characters.( See close up on pic #3)

It weighs 15.1 oz and measures 4" x 3.5"
