This lamp really has an antique vibe about it! We are not sure what the sliding brass ring is for but it is adjustable up and down and is 5-1/4'' in diameter...maybe for a plant or something? The lamp frame has 4 feet on it and a top ring hook for hanging or carrying around. We are unsure of the time period it was produced but estimate 1920s to 1940s Italy. The lamp and shade shows patina from age, handling, storage and display over the past many years. The lamp is in good working condition. For safety in shipping, the bulb is not included. The overall condition is good used antique condition.
