This decorative old brass lamp came from my mothers 1873 Victorian home in Epping, NH. The lamp is very solid and straight and provides a nice light. It stands 24" tall and weighs 5 pounds. The stone in the base maybe jade, though I'm not sure, and though the globe fits perfectly in the lamp, I cannot say if it's original or not. The key light switch had been a bit funky, so I had a lamp repair person install new parts. The switch works perfectly now. Overall, the lamp is in good condition, just needing a new home and a little dusting if so desired.
