Antique 1951 Framed Art Horse Mare & Foal Solid Wood CW Anderson 23” x 18.9” USA For Sale

This is a gorgeous antique framed art piece featuring a mare and foal horse, created by CW Anderson in 1951. This gorgeous piece is framed in an antique solid wood frame trimmed in gold and measures 23 inches by 18.9 inches.

This picture hung in my great grandfather’s office for over 70 years. His father started a general store in 1934 in Swampers, Louisiana. It is the only place in the world named Swampers. It is one of the few general stores still open in the United States today. There is one teeny tiny spot on it that I took a picture of that you can’t even notice, but other than that, it is in perfect condition.
