Made in the United States in 1912, these buttons feature the iconic “Bull Moose” That Teddy Roosevelt used in his campaign. One of the moose has lost its right horn. Otherwise they are perfect! A little history back story, This is a TR Roosevelt Bull Moose Party Lodge PTAP Temperance Campaign button stud. (There are two) Historic piece circa 1912. The moose has PTAP imprinted on his neck. The slogan P.T.A.P stands for Purity Temperance Aid Progress and was used in conjunction with the Loyal Order of the Moose. They are about 1” in size.
