Beautiful little antique sterling letter opener/page keeper. It measures about 4/1/2 inches long. Definitely a Collector's treasure! It had a tag attached to it which read "W Fair 1893". I understand that the particular Fair was an important one for many reasons. The history and facts surrounding the first Chicago Fair are fascinating. I don't know if this was purchased at the Fair or if it has a meaningful connection. Of if there's NO connection. Perhaps one of you onlookers can tell me? I hate to part with this, but I'm "cleaning house" so to speak, and have many more interesting items to sell. I am new at , so it will take me some time to gain momentum.
