Antique 1840’s Davenport Friburg Ironstone Platter ~ Great Condition For 175 Yrs For Sale

Gorgeous antique ironstone platter designed by the Davenport English pottery company in their Friburg Blue pattern.

The rare printed marks (2 of them!) on the back of piece, dates platter to between 1840 and 1848 (can’t make out the last digit of the year in the signature).

Platter measures 13 5/8" long by 10 1/4" wide, has a 1 3/4" raised edge and weighs 3.5 pounds. Such a beautiful piece! platter has all of the signs of it's age but only one the brownish coloring can easily be removed, but remains because some collectors prefer the age to be visible.
