Antique 10k Gold Match Safe Engraved Compliments of Parade w/ Animal / Mosquito For Sale

This antique match safe is a stunning piece of art with intricate engravings of an insect that I believe is a supposed to be a mosquito. It is also engraved Compliments of the Parade. The other side is marked with a word that I couldn't discern and then from Whitney Bros. Made of 10k gold, it is a collectible item that will surely catch the eye of any collector. The origins of this match safe are unknown, adding to its allure and mystery. It is a perfect addition to any tobacciana collection or as a unique decorative piece. In good condition as the pics show with some minor wear and it comes exactly as shown. It measures 1 5/8" x 2 1/2" and weighs 24.2 grams. It acid tests as 10k gold.
