This 443 page textbook by Edward Hitchcock,D.D.,L.L.D. and Edward Hitchcock,Jr.,M.D.( father and son professors at Amherst College) was published in 1860. The pages are in excellent shape with no tears or loose pages. There are some pencil notes from the student owner. The hardcover is good except the spine is defaced in the upper and lower 1/4. Please see photos. The anatomical drawings are outstanding. I also found quit interesting the final chapter titled \"Religious Inferences From Anatomy and Physiology\" i.e.subchapter \"I.
