American Football Game in Europe during World War II, Program and Photos lot.

This is a unique lot. This football program is very rare and from one of only a handful of organized inter-military football games played during WW2. This game was played in Maastricht, Holland, between the 29th Tactical Air Command (Maroon Wave) and the Ninth Army Air Force (Thunderbirds). The accompanied photo features 7 soldiers from the Maroon Wave who won the game 7-0. This game was played during the war as the American Allied Forces drove their way through France, Belgium, and the Netherlands while keeping their sights set on conquering the Germany.
