BIO:Albert Belle Cleveland Indians (1989–1996) Belle was one of the leadingsluggers of his time, and in 1995 became the only player to ever hit 50 doublesand 50 home runs in a season. Mr. Belle finished his career with MLB Hall ofFame worthy states are 381 home runs, .295 batting average and 1,239 RBI’s. 5×All-Star (1993–1997), 5× Silver Slugger Award (1993–1996, 1998), 1995 AL homerun leader, 3× AL RBI leader (1993, 1995, 1996) and Cleveland Indians Hall ofFame Inductee. Known until 1990 as Joey “Albert” Belle outfielder for theCleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, and Baltimore Orioles. He was also thefirst player to break the $10 million per year compensation contract in MajorLeague Baseball. Belle was a five-time All-Star and Silver Slugger. He retiredwith a .295 career batting average, and averaged 37 home runs and 120 RBIs perseason between 1991 and 2000.
