AITOR ~ EL MONTERO SURVIVAL / MILITARY KNIFE W/ SHEATH ~ MADE IN SPAIN For Sale

This sale is for a military style survival knife, looks to be older but not sure when it was made. Large, heavy and well made knife measures approx. 13 1/2\" long overall, blade is approx. 8 1/2\" long. Heavy blade with a razor sharp edge; about 1/3 of the top of the blade at the tip is also sharpened, and the back portion of the blade is a very sharp, rough saw blade. Heavy brass guard and pommel that have been painted black, the paint looks original, some of the paint has worn off to show brass. Marked on the blade CONTROL HRc around a small circle AITOR EL MONTERO with a small symbol that looks like an X inside of a shield with what looks to be a crown at the top, and in small letters INOX. CR MO VA. SPAIN. Comes as shown with original sheath; the OD green sheath is plastic with a web loop at the top. Stitching has come out of the webbing (holding the two layers together) otherwise the sheath is in good condition; appears intact and completely original. The knife does not appear to have ever been sharpened; has light scratching on both sides that appears to be from sliding the knife in and out of the sheath. Handles are in very nice condition, tight, heavily checkered for a good grip. Possibly could be an original military issue knife, not positive.
