Active Doll Co 8\" HP Pin Hip Walker MINDY DOLL Original Case & clothing, 3 boxed For Sale

Up for sale is a 1956-57 Hard Plastic Pin Hip Walker 8\" Mindy Doll made by Active Doll Company. Mindy is in good condition, her eyes open and close, her walker works, and her arms hold a pose. She has soft dynel dark blonde hair in a short flip. Mindy\'s only flaw is a spot on her tummy. (see picture) I am not sure what it came from since I am not the original owner. Otherwise she is in fantastic condition for her age.
The clothing in the case I believe to be original to the Active Doll Company and made specifically for the Mindy Doll. I say this because I looked in the \"small dolls of the 40\'s & 50\'s IDENTIFICATION & VALUE GUIDE\"by Carol J. Stover and found many of the outfits pictured on pages 18-22. These clothes are of a nice quality. There are also some shoes and socks. There is a nurses outfit that does not seem to be of the same quality. All the case clothing is in very good condition except the white linen dress with the pink sash has discolored slightly with age. The hat on Mindy has also seen it\'s day. I was going to replace it with another vintage hat, but decided she did look cute in it despite it\'s condition.
There are three labeled boxed outfits. They are labeled correctly, Bride, Rainy Day and Coat Outfit and marked Mindy. The plastic on these cases are in good condition however the cardboard on the top has been somewhat compromised. Because of that I peeked inside to let you know what was in there. This clothing, although from the same company does not seem to have the same quality as the clothing on the doll and in the case. They are new and in new condition. The Bride has a white dress, pink undies, a white straw rim only hat, veil material and a flower. The Rainy Day is the nicest with a plastic red hooded rain poncho, a white dress, pink vinyl purse and very nice quality red faux suede boots. Last there is the coat outfit with a red felt coat with white felt collar and cuffs, a pink purse and a very cute gold felt hat with original elastic in good condition.
The last thing I need to talk about is the Mindy Labeled Cardboard Case. For being made of cardboard 60 years ago I think it is in very good condition. The clasp works there is a handle at top and there is nothing missing. There is a wire waist holder to hold Mindy in the case and there is a rectangular metal bar that holds the clothing that is on hangers. There is no drawer and according to the pictures I see it did not come with one. There is some wear to the cardboard in certain spots and at the corners, but no major rips or breaks.
