This elegant antique CREED Sterling Silver rosary is a collector's dream.
Condition : EXCELLENT antique condition & absolutely beautiful.
Material : Exquisite Sterling Silver & 59 faceted black glass beads - Beautifully & intricately handcrafted by CREED - All beads are perfect even looking through a loupe I see no damage to the beads.
Featuring : 53 Cone capped sterling silver &faceted crystal"HAIL MARY" beads & 6 sterling silver sphere 6mm "OUR FATHER" beads - A solid sterling silver Crucifix with raised relief Corpus & holy medallion stamped "STERLING CREED" on the back of Crucifix & Medallion.
Holy Medallion :One side of the lovely egg shaped holy medallion has in raised relief a smiling bust of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The other side is the Flaming Sacred Heart of Jesus -stamped "CREED STERLING"at the bottom.
Special Features : There are 2 separate casting - one casting is of the spectacular Corpus, which is a piece of sculpture in it's own league - the other casting is a raised INRI banner - The sterling silver ribbed cone shaped "Hail Mary" beads are rare - I haven't seen a design like this before.
Overall Hanging Length : 23.5" From center - Can easily be slipped over the head to wear as a necklace with a 17" lariat & 6.5" drop to the Crucifix.
Crucifix Measurements : 2" Long x 1-1/8" Wide.
Weight : At approx 37 grams,this can be considered a substantive piece.
