Here\'s a very restorable example of the handcar motorized unit A.C. Gilbert produced for their American Flyer line of \'S\' Gauge toy trains. Dates to the 1950s. One lantern is missing off one side, and one of the figures is missing his head. All four side end extensions are intact, which is something of a rarity with handcars in this condition. There\'s typical wear to original paint and decals. No corrosion on chassis components, but motor will need cleaning, lube and general tune-up. A relatively simple project for the experienced Flyer collector.
