A Pair Of Early C1900 Polychromed And Gold Gilded Carved Wood Candle Stands. For Sale

For sale is a pair of wonderful carved and gold gilded polychromed wooden candle stick holders which have been electrified into lamps

These candlesticks came out of the private Connecticut estate. They are said to be Italian in origin but possibly American. We are unsure. Like many early lighting devices they were electrified and outfitted to serve as small end table lamps. 

The cardboard socket sleeves as seen in the listing pictures were not present when we picked these items up. They are not included in the sale. The braided hanging tassels however are included in the sale.

Condition: Very good. Age appropriate wear, gilt loss, small chips, and wear. Overall fine.

Measures: 18\" tall x 5\" base
