PAINTINGS OF ARMY MEDICINE IN WORLD WAR II
This includes 40 reproduction prints from the Abbott Collection Paintings of Army Medicine from 1945 during World War II, the portfolio holder/envelope, and the catalogue listing all the prints that were available. The prints included in this collection have circles drawn around the number in the photos of the catalogue, and the corresponding numbers have been written on the back corner as shown in my photos.
The prints come in various sizes and dimensions, but all fit within the 20" x 13" holder/envelop, and they are done by various artists which are listed in the documentation photos I have shared above. Feel free to read about this collection in the photos as well.
The reproductions in this portfolio have been made from paintings in the Abbott Army Medicine Collection selected for their historical significance and general interest. The relative sizes of the reproductions make them especially suitable for framing and hanging in pairs or in groups. These prints will usually be shown to best advantage when framed with a 3" mat around the larger subjects, and a 3 ½" mat for smaller ones.
All prints are by distinguished American artists and commissioned by Abbott Laboratories. While these loose large prints are very rare to find for sale, there are some condition issues which is why I am asking such a low price.
