It is a very interesting radioreceiver because an audio amplifier integrated circuit LM386 has been used as a regenerativedetector and AF amplifier. Runs on 9 Volts DC and it draws a very little current. Coversfull 3500-7500 KHz band. Receives AM, CW and SSB signals. You can usea 9 Volts alkaline battery or a good quality DC power supply. Sensitivity is very good andno experience is required to operate this cheap shortwave radio.This great looking, high qualityvintage style radio is designed to be just like homebrew radios that were built in the1960s by radio hobbyists in the great transistor radio era.I am an experienced radio receiver and transmitter builder, constructing radios for morethan 40 years, so you can buy confidently.You will get a very good performance within it\'s frequencycoverage.
