HISTORY: i AQUIRED THIS CARD IN AN ESTATE SALE IN 2003. I PUT THE CARD AWAY AND FORGOT ABOUT IT FOR OVER 15 YEARS. I CAME ACROSS THE MARINO CARD AND STARTED LOOKING INTO IT THIS SUMMER. I SOON REALIZED IT WAS VERY, VERY RARE. I STARTED CHECKING AND I LOCATED TWO OTHER SIMILAR CARDS, ONE IN ATLANTA, GEORGIAAND THE OTHER IN FLORIDA. BOTH OF THESE PARTIES TOLD ME THAT THEIR CARDS WERE NOT FOR SALE BECAUSE THEY WERE SO HARD TO FIND. THE PERSON I TALKED TO IN FLORIDA SAID HE PAYED OVER $9,000.00 IN 2015 FOR HIS COPY AND THOUGHT HE GOT A BARGAIN. BEING A BIG MARINO FAN AND COLLECTOR AND KNEW DAN PERSONALITY , he said Dan Had shown him his (PMG) #140 from his personal collection. So that is four I know of.

According to PSA grading records, there has never been a graded Dan Marino #140 \"Precious Metal Gems\" (PMG) card sold!Their have been four #140\'s graded by PSA, there were No PMG cards graded as high as a 9 or 10. The four cards that were graded - 1 was a 7, the other 3 were 8\'s. Mine is an 8 and I believe it was definitely under graded.
