A father-son trucking team was shaken at 7:30 a.m. today when their rig was hit by a freight train a mile east of the Washington state line near Hauser, Idaho. Walter Lebo, 60, of Chicago, driver of the truck, was cut and bruised. His son, Randy, 28, Seattle, in the truck sleeper at the time of the accident, was not hurt. The train rammed the truck just behind the tractor. Idaho State Police Cpl. Willis Brownlee estimated the damage to the truck, load and engine of the train at $150,000. The train engineer was Glade Pierce, N2921 Willow Road in the Spokane Valley.Photo measures 10 x 7inches. Photo is dated 08-16-1978. PHOTO FRONT
