1969 AMC Javelin SST Art Print Lithograph 69 For Sale

Beautiful original Chrysler piece was part of the Historical Art Print series produced by Chrysler Marketing in the early 1990\'s, and distributed to dealers through the Mopar Parts Division. Each lithograph was created from original signed hand-paintedairbrushedartwork, illustrated with gouache paint. Film positive negatives were used for the plates, and a varnish was applied over the printed areas. Artists featured were Kevin Yeszin, Paul LaMontagne, and Mike Maher. We obtained these lithographs directly from one of the artists.
Lithograph measures a large 11 X 14\", produced on heavy weight textured art paper. In perfect MINT condition, just the way it was made decades ago. This is a standard frame size, and this would look fabulous framed!
Javelin sales for the first year were decent, so AMC kept the Javelin similar, making only small modifications. Some cosmetic changes were made to the styling, such as the removal of the “Javelin” tag to the grille, which was replaced by a bulls-eye logo. Bigger changes were on the Go Package. These included fake hood scoops that were filled in with black plastic.
Interior changes included standard interior vinyl colors of white and charcoal, with the SST having many more option for colors. The SST also had wood grain overlays on door armrests and the dash panel, and the Rally Pak was gone.
Some interesting options late in the model year included a roof spoiler, and simulated side exhaust rocker panels.
