This fantastic horn is a well preserved piece of 1960s American trumpet history. From the makers of the famous Martin Committee trumpets, here\'s an all-original 1964 vintage Martin Imperial USA trumpet in excellentcondition. The original shinylacquered brass finish is 99%+ intact (WOW!) and looksalmost like a new horn from a few feet away. The finish is in very remarkable preserved shape showing only a few light scratches. The lacquer is that beautiful rich gold color that is loved by vintage trumpet collectors. This trumpet also has fancy nickel silver trimming on the caps, buttons, some braces, ferrules, mouthpiece receiver, finger hook, 3rd slide ring and both water keys. Obviously this trumpet was carefully stored by the previous owner foralmostits entire life. Bell is engraved with \"THE MARTIN IMPERIAL ELKHART - INDIANA USA\" and the serial number is 702XXX which makes this a 1964 vintage horn. This trumpet hasbuttery smooth quick valves with all the valve plating intact. Martin\'s hard nickel plated valves have proven to be one of thebest inthe brass industry. All slides are free and have just been lubricated. There are some small dings in the trumpet if you look closely, I just wanted to mention them in full disclosure. No significant dents anywhere and no signs of repairs either. This trumpet features an adjustable 3rd slide ring, traditional leverwater keys, and mother-of-pearl finger buttons. The trumpet is 100% complete and looks like it was very lightly ever used. It\'s a gorgeous horn as the pictures show and you\'ll be proud to own it. The Martin Imperial trumpet is known to be open blowingwith a sparkling centered tone with just the right amount of edge. It\'s really a joy to play and a fine example of this model.
