This week I\'m offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. In 1951, Bowman issued a set of 48 colorful, beautifully illustrated cards that addressed the public\'s enthusiasm for the Cold War, at its peak in the midst of the Korean War - \"Fight the Red Menace.\" These boldly illustrated and garishly written cards are a perfect time capsule for those who might be curious about the country\'s mindset sixty years ago! The set has remained popular with collectors ever since.This is card #26 from the set, captioned \"Finns Defense Country.\" Condition on this one is acceptable, with a couple of creases and some surface wear (see scans for condition). Pretty good for a card that\'s over sixty years old. This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
