Offered from an estate collection is this original 1931-1932 Buick 8 Chrome Radiator Cap Hood Ornament, also known as the \"Winged 8\" or \"Flying 8\". Condition on this pre-owned art deco OEM, driver quality hood ornament is very good, with chrome still gleaming, some minor pitting and a small ding to the top right of the \"8\". There is also some some black paint loss to the \"8\", which is easily remedied if that is important to you. The piece is marked \"Made by Ternstedt Mfg. Co., Detroit, USA, Design Patent Pending\".
