I have a vast amount of estate items I've bought over the last 25 plus years. Some are recent purchases and many are decades old. There are fewer and fewer estate sales than there were in years past. Items are becoming much harder to find. If you purchase this item, I hope you are happy and enjoy it. Condition for age as shown. 1910 CINCINNATI Artist Painter FRANK DUVENECK Photo VG 1. THE MAN WHO'S ESTATE THIS CAME FROM OWNED OVER 1000 GLASS NEGATIVES FROM THE ARTIST PHOTOGRAPHER FRANK WILMES. He produced photos from the glass negatives and sold them. He had the original camera and produced these from a silver process that you have to know what your doing and is somewhat expensive to do today. This is on high quality photographic stock paper. I did not copy this photo but bought it at a local estate sale. I copied part of the sale notice that gives you an idea about some of the story behind the photo. It was copied off his glass negatives, BY THE MAN WHO OWNED THE GLASS NEGATIVES AND DID HIS OWN DEVELOPING. 1913 PHOTO FRANK DUVENECK Artist Painter CINCINNATI OHIO VG. The Collection Includes Several Mid To Late 1800s Cameras, Enlargers, Over 1000 Of Frank Wilmes Glass Negatives (Many Of These Were Featured In The Book Cincinnatis Golden Age, We Will Cover A Little Of The History Of Frank Wilmes The Day Of The sale. Other Photography Equipment Includes Dark Room Materials, Gray Lab Universal Timers (2), Brownie Junior, Kodak M12, KO Rodenstudg, Speed Graphic #824026 Graflex Inc., Dejur Versatile Professional Enlarger (3), Amp Meter, Lighting Gauges, Much More. NICE LARGER SIZE PHOTO. Measures 6 & 1/2 X 8 & 1/2". I don't think you could find one in better condition. Just remember enlarged photos or scans tend to exaggerate any flaws.
