This is a very unique item from the Davis Level and Tool Co. out of Springfield, Massachusetts. The patent date is May 29, 1877,1863. It is in working condition at 18” and has 3 bubbles for horizontal and vertical leveling or plumb. The design is a beautiful original filigree design with the bubble wrapped in stainless steel. The tool itself is made from cast iron. It is rare to find one in this condition still intact. Thank you for your interest and it makes for an awesome decorative piece for anyone’s home.
