Legendary comedian Henny Youngman created this card in the early 1960's. He was a printer, and used this clever card as his own business card. People enjoyed the humor so much that it launched his long and successful careerUse this card as your business card, just like comedian Henny Youngman did. Use a rubber stamp (order throughany office supply store) to print your contact information on the back of the card. When you show someone the card, they'll want to keep it. And they will show the card to other people, giving you even more publicity.Just what you want form the perfect business card! I have one customer who orders 100 at a time and swears that he sells them for $1.00 each. His trick; he shows his pride and joy to someone and they always ask where he got the card.He answers; I bought 10 of them for $1.00 each from a man at a magic show. They immediately offer him $1.00 for the one he just showed them. History and TriviaLegendary comedian Henny Youngman was the comic genius behind these cards. Early in his career, he owned a small print shop in New York City and began printing humorous cards to use as giveaways. His "Pride and Joy" cards were the most memorable, and he used both as business cards throughout his long career. He was not the first to do so, however; his friend Milton Berle had seen the powerful marketing potential of these cards, and was the first to give them away to his fans after his show. As Henny Youngman's career took off, he himself began to use the cards that so well matched his brand of humor, printing his actual address and phone number on the back so he could be easily booked for a show. He used the cards right up until his death at age 91 in 1998. We bought over 800,000 cardsAND the Copyrights after Hennyand Lee Jacobs died.
