10 METER AMPLIFIER For Sale

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION : This sale/saleIs for a 10 METER ham amplifier. With a 2 1/2 W dead key from a stock radio modulating approximately 6 W into a dummy load this amplifier was doing approximately 150 swinging 250 or 275. There appears to be nothing burned inside of this but I think that this amplifier is putting out a little bit less than it probably should considering there are 4 Toshiba 2879\'s in this unit. tHERE IS ONE OTHER KEY PIECE OF INFORMATION TO UNDERSTANDING HOW THIS UNIT WAS TESTED, THIS UNIT COMES WITH 2 20 AMP FUSES THE POWER SUPPLY THAT WAS BEING USED WAS ONLY KILLING APPROXIMATELY 28 TO 30 AMPS, THIS AMPLIFIER DOES REQUIRE A LOT OF AMPERAGE THAT IS PROBABLY A REASON WHY IT IS UNDER THE NORMAL WATTAGE THAT IT SHOULD BE .sO THE 32 AND POWER SUPPLY THAT WAS BEING TESTED ON WOULD GO INTO A PROTECTION MODE if the output variable power on the front of the linear was turned all the way up. bUT IT SEEMED TO WORK FINE WHEN IT WAS AT ABOUT 3 O\'CLOCK NOT 5 O\'CLOCK ON THE KNOB. Everything else appears to work as it should. It does come with the mounting bracket. However there are no screws due to the person who owned this previously made the screw holes larger than average for the last of the screw that should have been used. Note note note note, somebody must pay very very close attention on the left-hand side of the amplifier when inserting brand-new screws because their length must be very very short as to not damage or short out circuit traces when they go to do this.
