Rare Vintage \"Harmony Marquis\" Acoustic Guitar H166G Superb Quality/Sound NR For Sale

Please consider this great sounding and great looking Harmony \'Marquis\' acoustic guitar.This is a fairly rare guitar....The \'Harmony \'Marquis\' (H166G) was a \'top of the line\' acoustic ... and this one - a true survivor - in \'superb\' overall condition. Plays very well....with strong volume and amazing sustain, with an even tone. Very good action (see pics)....and easy to play. No buzz or \'dead\' frets. This guitar that was played very little over the years, ...and well cared for! All original....I have never seen another like it. It says \'hand crafted\' on the label. Not sure if that means it was fully handmade....but it IS exceptionally well made. This would bee a great guitar for finger picking....given the loud clear notes..and even tone. Also great sustain for strumming. Or a great addition to a collection!This guitar is absolutely beautiful overall....I am not sure of the exact year. Harmony was founded in 1892 by Wilhelm Schultz. The Harmony Guitar Company ceased in 1975. Given the tuners, and bridge design this one was built late 1960\'s - early 1970\'s.
