This is an authentic major league baseball that has been hand signed and inscribed with “HOF 2010” by Whitey Herzog. He played in the MLB as an outfielder for eight seasons, debuting with the Washington Senators from 1956-1958, and three other teams from 1958-1963. He managed four different teams from 1973-1990, winning a World Series ring in 1982 and being named NL Manager of the Year in 1985, both with the St. Louis Cardinals and made two other World Series appearances in 1985 and 1987. He was elected to the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame in 2000 and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010. Herzog had his No. 24 Cardinals jersey retired by the team in 2010 and was inducted into the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame in 2014. Autograph obtained in person at a public signing by the seller. The ball is signed with a blue ballpoint pen and comes with a certificate of authenticity and numbered hologram from Jim and Steve’s Sportscard Shop.
