🎠RARE ART DECO PIERROT CLOWN CARD SUIT TRAYS – COMPLETE IN ORIGINAL JAPANESE EXPORT BOX ðŸŽ
Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, complete vintage Art Deco-era set of 4 hand-painted ceramic card suit dishes, complete with their scarce original Japanese export presentation box and lid.
MARKET SCARCITY: At the time of this listing, there are no other complete 4-piece sets available online that include the original 1920s–1930s factory box and lid. While individual or partial sets surface on rare occasions, finding a fully complete set preserved together in its original Japanese export packaging is virtually impossible for collectors.
Each small tray features a charming Pierrot clown figure holding a playing card suit across their lap:
Spades: Blue outfit with yellow hat
Hearts: Tan/gold outfit with green hat
Diamonds: Cream outfit with blue hat
Clubs: Sage green outfit with orange hat
These versatile small dishes were traditionally used as individual bridge table nut/candy dishes, pin trays, or personal ash receivers during card party games.
